Feng shui rules for your home office
Many people work from home today; so follow these feng shui rules for more productivity from your home office. Home office feng shui first of all suggests that if possible, you keep a separate entrance for your office. If this is not possible, make the room near the front or back door of your home your home office.
Feng shui rules state that the office has to be effectively separated from your living area, to ensure that business and personal lives don’t clash. So if your office is a part of a larger room, make a division using a partition or large plants.
You can also separate your business and personal aspects in the home office by taking short walks before entering the office at the start and end of your working day. Like in an office, home office feng shui advises placing the desk in the corner diagonally opposite the doorway and not under a window.
Make sure that you have a minimum of 7-9 inches gap between your furniture and walls and that the home office is tidy. This ensures a free flow of energy in the room at all times.
