Feng shui rules for a good night’s sleep
The bedroom is an important room of your home as you will be spending a minimum of 8 hours in it per day. So you have to follow these feng shui rules to ensure that you place your furniture right in your bedroom for a good night’s sleep.
Some beds come with a headboard, and according to feng shui rules, they are great as they give your head extra strength and support. However bedroom feng shui does not suggest having any foot boards as they are said to block your forward progress in life.
A very important point to remember is to never point your feet to the door while in bed. This is because according to Chinese culture, this is the ‘death position’ where the dead are carried out feet first.
Sleeping in this position only drains your life force. If there is nothing you can do to prevent this sleeping position, you can make an alteration to the above feng shui rule and place a footboard, strong trunk or any other furniture at the end of the bed as a buffer.
Another important feng shui rule is to remember to leave sufficient room around the bed for the free flow of energy and for each partner to get up easily from bed.
